Meet MeTrao

MeTrao is an invention of Event Acoustics. It is the only noise measurement system that measures simultaneously at the source and receiver, providing truly reliable objective measurements. This way, we prevent and remedy noise pollution and sound problems at festivals, in municipalities, for companies, and for private individuals, among others.

How Does MeTrao Work?

MeTrao was developed based on real-world experience to meet all the requirements of current regulations, local authorities, and customers in the field of sound level recording. By simultaneously measuring at both the source and the receiver of the sound and then comparing that data, it becomes easier to identify noise pollution or other sound issues.

For example, MeTrao can be used at festivals, where it continuously monitors the sound levels to prevent noise pollution that could cause problems for the event. Additionally, MeTrao can help identify the source of unknown noise pollution by measuring ambient sound and comparing it to the sounds that cause nuisance.

Using MeTrao

The MeTrao sound measurement equipment we developed is available for rent. You can rent the equipment with or without staff; we can place and collect the equipment if necessary, and remote support can be provided for the analysis of the measurement results if required. All measured data are available on our online platform, MeTrao WebFace. Of course, the equipment can also be purchased. We provide our own maintenance service and work closely with calibration institutes.
